{December} 10 on the 10th

I realize that I should re-name this blog "10 on the 10th", because yes, it is all I am blogging these days. But I am glad to at least be blogging these "day in the life of us" blog posts. :)

"This is what 10 on 10 is about: Take a photo every hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month. Document a day of your life and find beauty among the ordinary moments. Then share your beauty with us!"

Monday, December 10th.

Early morning quiet time, coffee, and talking to Jesus by the light of our tree.

A Mr. Jay is up first today. He sees my coffee and asks if he can have a cup. We compromise...

The boys are all up now, and together we break into our first Christmas gift, this lovely fruit basket, for our breakfast.

Took the boys to school. Now getting a little bit of computer work done while Kai tells me stories. :) More apples.

Lunch by candlelight. Our second Christmas gift - beautiful handmade candlesticks!

Getting ready to drop Kai off with daddy and head out to work at the Center for Women. As usual, color makes me smile.

Yes, yes, and yes. This is the sign all of us volunteers are greeted with as we go in to the Center. Love it.

Wow. Picture just uploaded and I'm like - whoa, he's big.  This guy is growing like crazy
Anyway, I came home from the Center early to get Jay and Noe and bring them to the highs school for a little Christmas performance. Noe is in the makeup room here, waiting for his part.

Jay's part. A fun little ditty, with a country twang, about Santa getting stuck in the chimney. Good times. :)

Came home to an exciting box waiting on my deck. Full of this Bible study goodness. I'm leading this study at the beginning of January at my church. And now for sleep...
