{He}

~Makes the best pancakes I don't even know why his taste so much better than any I can make ~Has an incredible amount of patience with our boys incredible ~Has a great work ethic ~Can be really silly Makes me laugh - even when I am grumpy ~Has eyes that literally sparkle when he is happy ~Laughs at trends ~Can fix just about anything ~Can make just about anything His classic line when I see something I want need: (said in deep assured voice) "I can make that" ~Has traveled all over the US ~Has an affinity for technological gadgetry ~Wants to crash into/run over the cars and trucks that pull out in front of him at the truck stop a few miles from here Fortunately also has some self control ~Can be a bit of a perfectionist ~Reminds me that I don't do dehydration well Gets me water when he knows I am depleted ~Tells me I'm beautiful when I've been spit up on And pooped on And peed on And puked on And haven't showered in.... a while And feel the furthest thing from beautiful ~Brings me flowers Just because ~Gives me logic When I'm too tangled in emotion ~Shows me the other side When my outlook is too narrow ~Plays the trumpet ~Reminds me of who I am When I lose sight of me ~Reads me the Bible Each night ~Calls to tell me good morning Every week day from work ~Can mess up my kitchen In a matter of minutes ~Calms me down When I'm dealing with a toddler fit Or fussy baby Or daunting medical issues ~Prays with me ~Has two chain saws And knows how to use them ~Has spent a couple of recent Saturday mornings at our church Attending "leading your family" seminars ~Is so very honest ~Loves people Like just really, really loves them ~Tells me to go back to the salon When I'm frustrated with my new haircut that just did not work ~Likes nascar ~Gets extremely quiet when we are having a disagreement or he is frustrated When all I want to do is talk it out ~Changes diapers ~Listens to country music ~Does dishes ~Sings in the choir at church ~Gets frustrated when I make us late ~Lets me buy shoes Even though I have too many ~Is always striving to be the best man he can be ~Holds good customer service in high regard And conversely, can get very ticked off at bad customer service ~Let's others hold him accountable ~Loves all things outdoors Camping, hiking, bike riding, hunting, boating, fishing, gardening ~Is very nurturing ~Teaches me about grace ~Adores his boys And seeing him interacting with and adoring them does things to my heart ~Encourages me in my ministries ~Makes mistakes Falls down and gets back up ~Is "frugal" ~Has a very soft heart ~Can whistle with his pinkies And I've always wanted to do that ~Teaches me every day what it means to love and be loved

It's so funny, I started laughing at the dehydration one, because my hubby does that to me too!

And I will *never* forget Dave playing his trumpet at your wedding. Sooo cool.
