Do flowers make you cry?

I had to explain to Jay why mommy cried after the UPS guy dropped these off. I think he's thoroughly confused at mommy's moods and all of the strange reasons for her tears. :) "Mommy, are you sad about the baby?" He asked in a very confused voice. :) I explained that I felt very loved and sometimes when mommy's happy she cries too. He looked at Dave and Dave shrugged his shoulders and they went back outside to do 'guy stuff'.

My family from near by and out of state sent these to me. The love of six families is represented in the beauty of this bouquet. It had a similar effect on me as the warm blankets the kind nurse placed on me after surgery yesterday. :)

Oh yes, they certainly can!

Dad got mom some flowers from proflowers about 2 months ago and they lasted for over 2 weeks! I just e-mailed Chad and said if he ever thought about getting me some flowers that I think proflowers would be a great way to go. They are sooo beautiful!

I hope you continue to receive blessings big and small!

Oh Wendi,

My heart hurts for you. I found your blog through audrey carolines blog.

I too have an angel baby. My daughter Savannah was stillborn on February 9 of this year at 35 weeks. We found out at a routine ultrasound that she had no heartbeat, and it was very unexpected. I felt a lot of peace through the whole labor process, but it tore my heart out when the man from the funeral home came to take my baby from me...and I knew he wasn't going to give her back. But he was a kind man, and he looked me in the eye and told me, "We'll take good care of her, I promise." At that moment the spirit whispered to my heart, "So will I"

I KNOW our children are with our Savior. I KNOW He will take care of them until we are reunited again. And I KNOW He will take care of us until we are reunited again, if we will let Him. You definitely seem in tune with Him, and I know He will send you His tender mercies as you travel down the road of healing yet again.

My favorite scripture right now is John 11:35: Jesus Wept. Those two words convey so much love that the Lord feels for us. Even though He knew He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead He wept with his family. He loved them so much that it hurt Him that they hurt. He loves us and through the gift of His life we will be with our children after this short life is over. However, in the mean time He will cry with us and "hold" us during the journey.

Your family will be in my prayers!

Hm...flowers don't make me cry, probably because I automatically start trying to figure out where to put them so the cats don't destroy them...hehe.

Glad you are doing well and feeling at peace.

Yes, three is crazy, and I'm not even fully there yet, as Terry is home for the summer and is on 24 hour Isaac and Lyddie duty!!

Came across your blog from leslieautumn. I cannot begin to relate, being that I've never had children or even been pregnant... but I love what sarah garner shared and I hope support and encouragement like that will continue to move you through this time - your entire blog reflects such a sweet spirit and the reality that you're an amazing mom... thanks for sharing ~ Shannon

flowers make me do that sometimes too. Glad the surgery went well, I had to have one of those about 4 years ago and I know all the emotions you are feeling. Let Jesus comfort you through this time. Praying for you.

Same here, flowers make me teary-eyed. Those flowers are beautiful! You sure are loved!

Had my lil boy confused too when I was crying over his defiance one minute, and crying again over his sincere apology and I-love-yous several minutes later. He had this puzzled look on his face, as if, "How can I ever figure out my mommy?"

Beautiful flowers! I cry when I'm happy too. I remember the first time my five year old cried when she was happy and said now I understand mommy. Bless you!
