This is all I will say about it

I do not consider myslef deeply political. I care. I try to be well informed. I vote every time the privilege is offered, but that has been my extent of political involvement. Despite that, I definitely have strong views and am very passionate about what is at stake in the elections. A friend emailed me this video today. It summarizes my views quite nicely, so I wanted to share it. No matter what happens one week from today I am putting all of my trust in this: "Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." Psalm 46:10 &11 I can not and will not put my trust in any thing or any one else. And that will be all that I will say about it. :)

I totally agree with you. There is only ONE that I trust. I will vote my heart, but it is His plan. All things are perfect in his timing and plans.

Loved it, I stole it and posted it on my face book page. To many Christians are voting on selfish needs over biblical standards this election. It's a shame, but I hope videos like this can remind them to be heavenly minded, not of this earth.

Tears just pouring down my face. By far, the most powerful voice I've heard to date. I've already cast my vote, and though not thrilled with either candidate, I voted on one issue alone. I voted for the millions of voices silenced every year in the womb of their mothers. I will always vote on the side of life.

I've blogged some perspective in the matter recently. Come when you can. Either way, God is still on the throne.

Thank you!

As a British citizen I find these kind of things really interesting. We tend to see our religion as something private to us and our families; that we will tell other people about as, and when, we need to explain something. Whereas, for my American friends their faith is something they will tell people about very early on. This doesn’t mean that either is better; just that a message like this would not have any (or very little) effect over here. I think we sort of assume that everyone will cast their vote according to their conscience anyway!

I have watched this and other similar videos during the past couple of weeks. It is powerful. I only pray that people are listening, watching and praying before they make their decisions.

Yet, I too know that God is in control and He will not leave his children.

Bless you, Cindy
