Hello blogging world

I'm back and I'm tired and I have a huge crazy mess in my kitchen. Like piles of suitcases with their guts hanging out, various combinations of unmatched shoes, boxes - you get the idea. It's not real attractive. I just got back from restocking the house with groceries. Wow. Note to self: When you are really tired do not go shopping at 4 different stores on a Saturday afternoon that happens to be part of a holiday weekend.
Despite all of that I am filled up with happy memories from time spent with family. It was wonderful. It is also sweet to be home. We got back around 11:30 last night. I will have much to write about, but for now I will simply show one of my favorite pictures from our vacation.
My mom and I with Noe, K, and Jay. :) Oh how I wish this was not a rare scene.

Speaking from a grandma's perspective: your mom wishes even MORE than you that this were a common scene.
