I was terrified. I know all too well those feelings you described. She laid on a pillow in my arms. I still and probably always will feel like I never "held her." I awkwardly held her for awhile until I finally told my heart, this is all you have, this moment. I knew there wasn't anything I could do to hurt her or harm her, I held her like a mother would her child.

Thank you for sharing this moment Wendi. You've stolen it straight from my heart... :')Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14508922160749666019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564587143098254879.post-6472916802070100492011-01-05T23:03:45.660-05:002011-01-05T23:03:45.660-05:00That morning Pastor Denny came to me to tell me th...That morning Pastor Denny came to me to tell me that I needed to go up to the hospital after church. As I recall there was a couple of prayer sheets that he wanted me to take up to the hospital. I sang and prayed and cried most of the way to the hospital. It was followed by a difficult day and week. You have written about this beautifully. When are you going to be back to writing the book? or maybe you already are! So glad that our little "vegetable", Caleb is doing so well!Arlonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06908096181784688343noreply@blogger.com
